Warren's 7th grade participates in Grayslake Invitational

The 7th grade Jr Blue Devils participated in the Grayslake Invitational.  The defeated Barrington 45-40 and Grayslake North 50-4 before falling to Stevenson 26-28.  The Jr Blue Devils had defeated Stevenson in 2 other meetings this season but couldn't quite overcome a basket made in the final seconds by the Patriots.

Coach Mark Christie feels this is a great tune-up for the NIGFBA League Tournament coming up in a few weeks.

Our Jr Lady Blue Devils will be playing in the Grayslake Invitational this weekend (Feb 29 - Mar 2).  Their game schedule is

  • 2/29 Fri 6:00PM vs Grayslake Central at Grayslake Middle School Court #1
  • 3/1 Sat 11:45AM vs Highland Park at Grayslake North HS Court #2
  • 3/2 Sun 9:15AM vs Kaneland at Grayslake Central HS Court #2
  • 3/2 Sun 2:15PM Championship Game at Grayslake North HS Court #4
    NOTE: the team must qualify for this game

 The teams in the other half of the bracket are Grayslake North, St. Viator, Stevenson and Barrington.
